Lynne Milford is a collaboratively trained attorney who decided many years ago to devote her work to helping couples divorce differently.  It IS possible to navigate a huge life transition like a divorce without inflicting more trauma on the family.  Before “Collaborative” divorce was a thing (before early 2000s), Lynne encouraged people to remember that their sanity is priceless and that it is possible to divorce while remaining sane.

Lynne has been a family law practitioner for three decades now.  Originally from Pennsylvania, Lynne graduated from Penn State and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.  Lynne’s practice has focused on divorce, mediation, child-related issues such as support and modifications, and stepparent adoptions.

With her initial Collaborative Divorce Training in 2004, plus annual professional trainings from a variety of collaboratively-focused programs every year since, Lynne brings deep expertise and creativity to every case, helping her clients move forward with their lives in a respectful and civilized manner, and with a keen focus on the children’s best interests.

When not serving clients, Lynne enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family, playing with her dog, walking, reading, and cooking.
